This week’s tech extra credit is to make a comment on iseroma.com. It’s easy. Here’s how:
Some students say they like Google Docs but their Internet doesn’t always work at home.
Well, you can use Google Docs even without the Internet. This means that you can work on a document offline and sync it when the Internet works again.
If you have a laptop, this means you can work anywhere.
Watch this video (where you can access YouTube) to find out how.
This week, we begin a new unit in English 10. This is what you’re going to do:
Never fall behind. Check out the BEM Unit Sheet and BEM Unit Calendar.

The new school year is bringing a lot of excitement, including a new building and a new food service. Add to that this: You now have a free professional email address and account with Google Apps.
What does this mean? A lot. It’ll be easier to communicate with your peers and your teachers. You’ll have a professional email you can use on your resume. And you’ll be able to do your work for class much more easily without having to worry about losing your work or finding a computer to print your stuff.
Your English teachers will help you get your account, but if you want yours early:
1. Go to home.lhssf.org.
2. Click on “Mail” underneath “Applications @ LHS.”
3. Register. Your username is your firstnamelastname (all together) and your temporary password is LHSpride! (which you’ll change).
If you get stuck, watch How to Register with Google Apps (my first screencast!).
