So is it possible to embed a video directly from the Vodpod site? Yes, it is. One benefit is that Vodpod is not blocked at school. Too bad YouTube is!

A video of last Friday’s performance of “Square Boy Rebel” at the All-School Meeting has made its way to YouTube, with 200 views so far.

The video is also being shared on Facebook.

One of the best new clubs on campus is We Reflect The Future. The club has produced two radio shows already this year. If you missed one — or if you want to listen to them again — scroll down to the right where you see an iPod.  There you’ll find the radio shows as podcasts!

After two years, iseroma.com gets a new look today. I hope that you like the redesign: brighter, cleaner, happier.

Besides looking good, the new design is geared to encourage more students and families to interact with the site. I’m hoping that students, especially my advisees, will post original content and that everyone will feel free to interact with each other and write comments.

Inspiring Young Emerging Leaders, or I-YEL, is accepting applications for a paid internship focused on improving the environment and learning about the Golden Gate National Parks.

The internship would include environmental leadership training and outdoor trips. Interns must make a year commitment (October through July), attend weekly meetings on Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and participate in two trainings a month on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Want to be a doctor? If so, check out UCSF’s MedLink program. This mentorship program connects you with a current UCSF Medical School student.

One Saturday per month, you go to UCSF, meet up with your mentor, and learn more about the medical field. Included in the program is a visit to the anatomy lab, a hospital tour, college awareness, and a consistent relationship with a current medical student.
